it would look great with some old collectible in it with a glass top and made to be a side table or coffee table. maybe put some old short legs on it. Oh the possiblities are endless with a treasure like that... Sabrina
Hi Beth!!! What if you put a hanger on the bottom, which would be the back. Put a shelf inside and a knob on the top lid, which would then be the door. You could hang it on a wall in your bathroom for towels. Or hang in your laundry room for soaps and stuff. What a neat find!!! Was nice to meet you! See you soon.
I have one that is a bit bigger and one that is a bit smaller. I use it at my shop as display. Right now I have it turned up, like you do in the pic. I stuck a smaller fruit crate in it to give it some different height. Or you could set a small child's chair in it. I've hung a small child's dress from the corner. I've also stacked it on a table for a different depth/height on the table. Just some ideas
My very first thought was to put some rustic wheels on it, turn it upside down and use it as a rolling coffee table. Second thought: install shelves in it and hang it on the wall. It sure is wonderful, though!!! Wow!
I have one similar to that but it's still in the "old wood" state - I may have to paint it white now!! I have it under the table in my studio with the ugly white paint holder that I got to hold all my paints. I can "twirl" it around to get at the paint on both sides but at least I don't have to look at the ugly white metal paint stand. I think ti would make a good side table in a living room with the opening facing out and you could make a neat display in there (or put a shelf in it and use it for a book shelf.)
Hi, I'm Susan from www.homeroad.net and I'd put shelves inside and use it as a bookshelf. Actually... I want one for just that! Stop by when you get a chance, I'm your newest follower! Your site is great!

How about some chippy shelves and a wire with an old feed sack across the front? They sell pretty good up here. Dawn
I was thinking turn it upside down for a coffee table or add a shelf and make an entertainment center out of it.

Hey Beth, what about turning it into a bookshelf? Can't really tell how tall it is but it might work.
I would put some wheels on it and sew a three section liner for it and use it as a laundry sorter.

I have one a little smaller. I added a shelf and it holds my crafty books in my office!
I love yours!
