I recently gave our guest room a very over due make-over. You can go on over to my other blog Olde Tyme Marketplace to see the results.
The tweeking however still contines, which to me is the funnest part!
This morning I was bloggin and I looked over to my stack of feedsacks (yes they share a room) and I saw this HUGE Quaker Oats one that made me think hmmmmmmm....
that bed really does need some more pillows ......soooooo before I went to work today I put this baby together and love how it turned out!
It took like 10 minutes. You gotta love easy schmeasy projects like this!So this is how I ended up with oatmeal in the bedroom!
I really like the texture element it gives the room as well as a bold graphic that still has a subtle way about it if you know what I mean. Am I making any sense here? At all? Hello?
I am happy! Plus there is one less thing in my craft/computer/spare/storage room.
Which happens to be next on the list for a make-over of it's own.

Ahhh...the best kind of fiber around! Love the look AND the simplicity.
Pillow is simply wonderful! So fun!
Oh...I love oatmeal in the bedroom! Love your new pillow. I've never seen a burlap oatmeal bag!
Perfect for that room and that bed! It needed a little bit of 'rustic-ness' in there, and you did it perfectly!

OH BETH I LOVE IT and especially because I was born, raised and moved back here to Cedar Rapids, Iowa....the Quaker Oats Plant is right downtown C.R.
So fun seeing a vintage piece of my history.
Thanks for sharing,
Amy (Mom to the Four Sisters)
This blog is AWESOME!!! Love it! I also love the Quaker Oats pillow...simple genius. And I too love old wire baskets...I think I'm a wire basket hoarder. I'll be back to see more of your goodies!
That is one of those things that when you walk into the room you say, AWESOME!
