WEATHERED WHITE

These photos are of my dad's tool shed up in the vineyard. When I was a little girl I used to Love to pretend that this was my store! Who knew!
I always loved how it smelled of fertilizer.
Now I love the weathered appearance it has. All chippy and faded.

Peely paint...

old original hardware....

I am linking this to White Wednesday at Faded Charm. Many more white inspirations await you over there!

What an awesome building. Reminds me of my Dad's old warehouses which were actually school buildings which he had moved from the local college...chippy white paint, tons of the old windows, wood floors, interior brick.. Oh, how I loved those buildings! Thanks for bring back a cherished memory!

Just popped by from White Wednesday. I love your photos ... there is something mysteriously beautiful about old sheds, with weathered patinas that can't quite ever be replicated, no matter how hard you try. :)

I love the white textures and chippy peely paint, too! I wonder if I can capture that in a painting? Would be fun to try.

Wish I could see the shed in person...it's wonderful. Perfect condition, if you ask me. Love the snapshots.

I love how old buildings like this look. I'm so drawn to all that weathered and peely wood and the original hardware makes it all the better. I always wished there could have been an old outbuilding on our property like this one.

Take care,

Kathleen
