My favorite Hoosier ever!

I recently came across this old Hoosier style cupboard at a flea market last month.
I immediatly fell in love with the crackly old gray/white finish......She has all her own original stuff...metal bread drawer, flour bin and sifter, roll top works, old hardware, porcelain top, metal tray inside .....but my MOST favorite part of all.......
has got to be this........flour still on the sifer knob. The stories this cupboard could tell!

How many times has this door been opened and closed to make something yummy?
She now sits in my shop for sale~flour-y knob and all!
Please go take a peek at other wonderful white goodies at Faded Charm!

I LOVE your Hoosier Beth! I have one, mine is a 1925 Sellers Baking Cabinet.. If I had space I would definitely have another one because they have so much history! Love yours! The flour on the knob is awesome!

I have a wonderful old Hoosier that my husband and I bought at an auction outside an old house back in the 70's. It is still in our kitchen and I love it! Don't know if I told you this before but the light blue Chevy pickup in your header was my grandfather's...at least one that looks just like it. Thanks for the memories! :)

Oh how I wish my kitchen was big enough to have a Hoosier in it! That one is gorgeous, and I bet it'll sell quickly. But my favorite thing is that blue pickup in your header!
Happy White Wednesday!

I have had my eye on Hoosier Cabinets for a while and have yet to buy one. I too love the history that each one tells just from the look of it. They truly remind me of a better time when we took the time to make pies from scratch:) Enjoy your favorite Hoosier!

what a blessing that find was. I used to have my great-grandmothers, but alas the house we moved to was just way to small to house it. I gave it to a dear friend, this way I can visit it and go "AHHHH! as if I gave this away"... LOL
