Gotta have one of these....

I grew up with an OUTDOOR SHOWER and I dream of having one again.
The one at my parents house was built from a practical standpoint. Growing up on a vineyard, ya get messy. It was great to be able to leave alot of the mess outside!
It had been there ever since I was kid. My mom had honeysuckle growing up along one whole side and the smell was heavenly. Imagine going out there at night under the stars with that sweet smell and well....it was wonderful. In the winter when there is 42 inches of snow outside, it was wonderful.
Now, I do remember getting out there and the well going dry and I was left with a head full of shampoo ! What's a county girl to do but take herself down to the pond and dunk her head in! Yep! Did the trick.
Now I just want one because I want one. It is so relaxing and I suppose the memories are just too sweet.

Oh, this one is pretty cute! I would love to have one just like it. Very country! We went to Costa Rica two summers ago. The place we stayed had an outdoor shower off our bedroom that looked out into the jungle. We showered with the monkeys and the iguanas!

We have one in our backyard however, it is COLD water only. The kids don't seem to mind a bit?

An outdoor shower sounds fun. I just found your blog today and have read back through to the beginning. I became a follower and have your blog in my sidebar so I will see all new posts. Stop by anytime.

BTW, two of my favourite posts are the log cabin/Laura Ingalls and the collecting linens, both things I love too.
