I WANT THIS!

It is truly my dream to have an old log home one day . I blame Laura Ingalls. Since I first cracked the pages of her life story , I fell in love with the whole ideal. She made everything sound so wonderful and cozy and warm and just ...well ...perfect. This dream is at least 30 years old and I have never changed my mind about any of it...it MUST be old, it MUST have square logs, it MUST have lots of chinking, it MUST have a porch, it MUST have a fireplace, it MUST have a loft and other than that I am willing to compromise................ I THINK I FOUND IT!! ISN'T THIS ONE ADORABLE?? Look at the door, the porch, the picket fence for goodness sakes!! I am in LOVE! With each picture, the dream keeps alive and feels a little bit closer...

I love the little log house. My dream has always been to own a little cottage in the mountains.
Maybe someday..............
Enjoy your Sunday.

Amazing!! Where is it? Love your blog..and keep the dream alive. I always wanted a canned ham, always, and this year, but sheer luck and lots of convincing - we got one! You never know when and where it will happen but it will!!!

That is an adorable cabin. I would love an old one, on my property some day. My husband doesn't get it, but I do, and I think that's all that matters
Hope you get one someday

Howdy!
For some strange reason (brain crash?) I totally forgot about your second blog! Just had to say how much I love the square log home with lots of chinking! And the answer to your earlier question "how many white pumpkins ..." You can NEVER have too many white pumpkins, lol!
Hugs!
Betty :)

Love that cabin. I work in the log home industry but it's the wonderful old hand crafted cabins that I love. Those are the ones that have been filled with love for generations. I'm still dreaming too. Thank you for sharing.

Step away from my house! This is my dream place also.....
I've been dreaming much longer than 30 years...does that mean I will move in before you?
