Today I took up a big ole load of NEW JUNK to my booth at the Sleepy Poet . Enjoy peekin!!
A few of my special details.............
This cloche looks great with the old architectural pieces in it.................
The chippy window house was a perfect place to store antique quilts..................
I adore this picture..........by Andrew Wyeth..........
pure love.....devotion......comfort.....rest.......peace
Here's a nifty idea I came up with the other day......I had a big old box of old liquor bottles that I just kept moving from one place to the next and I also had like 56 old brass house numbers that have been laying around....wellllllll they came together to make some really cool looking vases or just plain ole knick knacks! I think they look great in a grouping just about anywhere. They add texture and a bold visual statement for a small piece. Super easy project.....super lookin accent! You can see these for yourself in my booth w12 at the Sleepy Poet Antique Mall in Charlotte NC!
It's the color............
the texture..............
the dimension............
OLD FEED SACKS................................
NUMBERS......................................
Thought you might enjoy a few inspirational pictures! I took these at a great antique mall called OAK STREET MILL in Cornelius NC! Some of the vendors have super stuff!! Enjoy........................
who knew an old potatoe masher, paint brush, umbrella, and ornaments could look this fab!!
SIMPLY SCRUMPTIOUS!!!!!!!!!!
